The Montessori Method - The worldview of this method is of great relevance to the current education worldwide.  This educational method is characterized by emphasizing the activity directed by the child and clinical observation on the part of the guide. This observation is intended to adapt the learning environment of the child to their level of development. The basic purpose of this method is to unlock the potential of every child to be in a self development structured environment. The method was born from the idea of helping the child to obtain a comprehensive development to achieve the highest degree in their intellectual, physical and spiritual capacities, working on a scientific basis in relation to the physical and mental development of children. Maria Montessori based her method on the child's work and collaboration adult - child. Thus, the school is not a place where the teacher transmits knowledge, but a place where intelligence and psychic of the child will develop through free labor with learning material.  Educational work proposed by Maria Montessori is an educational model and not just a method applied to teaching since this concept ( method ) involves, in general, the organization of specific activities to obtain a result, which can be applied to virtually any organized activity, while an educational model requires a philosophical conception of learning, teaching, the relationship between teacher and learner and the social purpose of the teaching-learning activity and the development of specific tools and materials education based on such a conception, elements that are present in the work of institutions that follow the approach of Maria Montessori; therefore, the set of ideas and guidelines developed by it is also known as Montessori Philosophy.
